Go behind the scenes of PPE production for companies

In the challenge of producing masks, gowns, and face shields for large-scale protection, we turned to artisans with high production capacity and small workshops that would have otherwise had to lay off many seamstresses due to a lack of new orders. We always monitor production, request photos, and provide guidance on the sanitization of production sites. To our pleasant surprise, we received these testimonials from the Nova Friburgo hub in Rio de Janeiro, and we found them so touching that we want to share them with you as well:

As of today, May 20, 2020, we have produced 2,809,449 protective items with small local workshops in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Nova Friburgo/RJ, São Gonçalo/RJ, Manilha/RJ, Alcântara/RJ, the city of São Paulo, the ABC region of São Paulo, and Salto/SP for 15 clients. Although our production is currently centralized in the Southeast region, we have mapped out production capacity in every region of the country.

The majority of the masks we produced were intended for donations and for the protection of employees at companies that cannot shut down.

It is also important to express our gratitude to the seamstresses who are on the front lines: thank you so much!
