Rede Asta is looking for a financial manager who sees the people behind the numbers and can bring professionalism and efficiency to that perspective. Key responsibilities and duties:
- Ability to think strategically, create routines and processes, track KPIs, make decisions regarding cash flow, loans, and project budget reallocation, and provide financial intelligence for managing both an OSCIP (non-profit) and a small business
- Manage relationships with outsourced accountants and lawyers (analyzing balance sheets, trial balances, income statements, and certificates). It is important that the professional stays up to date on new legislation that may affect Rede Asta (sector-specific and labor laws)
- Responsible for weekly performance analysis from a management perspective (Actual vs. Budgeted), supporting the board in decision-making
- Coordinate two staff members responsible for treasury and project account control
Expected profile:
- Degree in Business Administration or Economics
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of financial ERP systems
- English (at least technical proficiency in the field)
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in financial and management analysis and administration
- Actual vs. budget tracking
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Liaising and negotiating with banks and clients.
- Developing and implementing finance processes
- Operational team coordination
- Business acumen
- Ideally, previous entrepreneurial experience or experience in the non-profit sector
